To date, 15 militants linked to the FC North attack have been arrested alive. My view is that while the elimination of a key commander disrupts a dangerous network and lowers immediate risk, sustainable security will require ongoing collaboration among security forces, regional partners, and local communities, along with robust oversight to protect civil liberties and address underlying drivers of militancy rather than relying solely on force.
