ISLAMABAD - While Pakistan works tirelessly for regional peace through diplomatic mediation and counterterrorism operations, India has once again resorted to using Afghan Taliban proxies to carry out terrorism in Pakistan. Today's blast in Karachi was also carried out by an Indian-backed Afghan terrorist group, further exposing New Delhi as a global sponsor of terrorism.

The attack targeting a Rangers installation comes just days after Pakistan's security forces made significant breakthroughs against Indian-sponsored terror networks, including the elimination of Afghan TTP terrorists plotting major attacks in the city. Pakistan has repeatedly presented irrefutable evidence that India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is actively sponsoring terrorism through proxy networks operating from Afghan soil.

A Pattern of Indian-Sponsored Terrorism

Over 2,000 Kgs of Explosives Seized in Karachi

In January 2026, security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in Karachi's Baldia Raees Goth area, seizing 2,000 kilograms of explosive material and preventing a catastrophic attack targeting a shopping mall. Three terrorists were arrested, and investigations revealed the explosives were transported from Afghanistan to Balochistan and then to Karachi.

Additional Inspector General CTD Zulfiqar Larak confirmed the network was being operated from India, with evidence linking the terror fabric to Bashir Zeb, BLA, Fitna al-Hindustan, and the Majeed Brigade.

RAW Network Busted in Karachi

In August 2025, the CTD dismantled a major RAW network in Karachi, arresting six suspects tied to India's intelligence agency. The network was orchestrated by an Indian handler based in a Gulf state who coordinated terror attacks from abroad. The suspects confessed to working as agents for RAW, with funds transferred through bank channels highlighting clear cases of terror financing.

India's Proxy Terrorism: The Evidence

Defense analysts note that former Indian Army Chief General Vijay Kumar Singh has admitted that India sponsored bomb blasts in Pakistan and funded separatist elements in Balochistan. Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has stated that terrorist attacks in Pakistan are the result of a "proxy war" waged by India in complicity with the Taliban government in Kabul.

The DG ISPR has previously stated that Indian proxies are working from Afghan territory to target Pakistan, and Pakistan has shared "proof and evidence" of such activities with Kabul.

Pakistan's Resolve

As Pakistan works for peace, India continues to sponsor terrorism as a tool of statecraft. Pakistan's security forces remain committed to defending the nation against Indian proxy networks. The CTD has confirmed that the network was being operated from India, and more arrests are expected as investigations progress. Pakistan will raise the matter of India's sponsorship of terrorism at every international forum.
