Small businesses and workers with late shifts may face financial strain, while urban residents could experience improved air quality and a potential reduction in noise pollution. Enforcement will hinge on clear guidelines, public communication, and a robust monitoring framework to prevent evasion and ensure fairness across regions. Observers caution that uneven implementation, regional disparities, and the economic impact on daily-wage workers could undermine the policy if not accompanied by targeted support and transitional measures. From my perspective, this is a necessary but delicate instrument: it could yield significant energy savings and macroeconomic benefits if paired with transparent reporting, targeted exemptions where needed, and safeguards for vulnerable groups.
