In a post on X, the Prime Minister also conveyed his heartiest felicitations to US President Donald Trump and the people of the United States for the successful hosting and exceptional arrangements of the historic tournament .
The Prime Minister further expressed appreciation to the governments and peoples of Mexico and Canada for their excellent partnership in hosting the FIFA World Cup with distinction . He commended FIFA President Gianni Infantino and the entire FIFA team for their efforts in organizing the global spectacle, noting that the event would undoubtedly strengthen football's stature as a truly global sport .
In his message, PM Shehbaz highlighted that the FIFA World Cup once again demonstrated sport's power as a universal language that transcends borders and inspires humanity .
