BAJAUR, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa - A police constable was martyred after coming under terrorist fire in Bajaur district, security officials confirmed.
Constable Nazimullah, a resident of Asil Targao Barang, was on his way to the Seen Gharah post for duty after completing his leave when terrorists opened fire on him en route. He was martyred on the spot.

The Incident
According to initial reports, the constable was traveling to his assigned post when he was ambushed by suspected militants. The attackers fled the scene following the shooting.
Security personnel arrived at the location shortly after the incident and have initiated a search operation in the surrounding areas to apprehend those responsible.

Law enforcement officials have condemned the attack, describing it as an act of cowardice against a serving officer who was simply performing his duties.
Constable Nazimullah is survived by family members who have received condolences from police officials and local representatives.
